Handling time
Handling time is 7 to 10 business days, depending on the model.
Some items ship within 2-3 days after the order has been placed.
Please look at the product page description for more information.
You will be updated on the progress of your order.
Please note that orders placed on the weekend or Japanese National holidays
will be handled on the next earliest business day.
Order Cancellation
All buyers are able to cancel their order without any additional fee within 24 HOURS after the payment. However, if the tracking number has already been updated, it means the item has been shipped, and we are no longer able to cancel the order at that point.
For all order cancellations after the given time, you will be charged 15% of the order's TOTAL VALUE, maximum up to 150 USD.
Custom Charges
When a package is shipped outside of Japan, it goes through the customs inspection in the respective country and sometimes is charged taxes depending on the policy of the country. Pensachi is not responsible for any customs taxes/charges charged on the package, as the shipping cost/ the cost of the products does not include the custom charges.
Pensachi does not undervalue the amount on the invoice and the parcel, as it goes against the customs law.
Warranty up to 12 months for fountain pens!
For many fountain pens and many items at PenSachi, we offer you up to 12 months of warranty. This is a special policy that you can only have with PenSachi. Please refer to our warranty terms for all items in PenSachi:
- Please check your item description to see whether there is a warranty or not. It is provided in product technical specifications.
- Any defect or damage caused by inappropriate uses or wrong maintenance is not covered by warranty.
- Customers are fully responsible for the return shipping fee in case of a warranty.

For limited edition fountain pens, there is a possibility that the warranty may be declined by the manufacturer if original materials required for repair are no longer available. Please understand that this is beyond our control and PenSachi cannot be held responsible in such cases.
- Warranty is available in the provided period only. Please check your item listing.
Return Policy
Return Period: 30 days
- We highly recommend you check your item(s) carefully after you receive it as returns are not accepted or are accepted at the buyer's cost after return period!
- Returns are accepted within 30 days after you receive your item(s) (based on tracking information).
- After our return period (30 days), returns are either declined or initiated with additional costs covered by customers.
- PenSachi reserves the right to decline the claim for manufacturer defects or defective shipping if the return request is made after our return period.
Return Conditions
If your item(s) arrive in damaged condition or seem defective because of manufacturing, or if it is a different item from what you purchased, please contact us within a week after you receive the parcel and provide us with pictures describing the defect/ damage. We will take care of this carefully.
NON-DEFECTIVE ITEM
- Your item(s) must be returned in brand-new, unopened, unused condition with full labels and original packaging to qualify for a refund or replacement. In this case, please note that the original shipping fee cannot be reimbursed. For a pen, it is considered used if the ink has run through any part of the pen, the included cartridge, converter or piston filler is not intact and touches ink, also all tags and accessories are intact and not removed.
- If your item(s) are used, we do not guarantee a full refund or a same replacement. The fees that the buyer must cover in this case include: a handling fee for the used item which is decided after we inspect the item, 10% of the selling price for restocking fee, and a reshipping fee in case of replacement. In this case, please also note that the original shipping fee cannot be reimbursed as well.
- For replacement, since a replacement might not be available in stock at that moment, after checking, we will let you know whether you can have the same item or if there are other options for you to choose from. Apart from the fees mentioned in (2) and (3), if there is any difference between prices of your item and the replacement item, we will calculate and add or minus accordingly.
- If the item defect is caused by the manufacturer, the costs for impairment or replacement, as well as the handling fee, will be covered by us, even if the item is used. The fees will be refunded to you after we have received the item and have carefully checked the item.
- If the return is due to the customer’s personal reason, free return can only be applied if the item is unused and is in brand new condition with 10% of the selling price as a stocking fee, an additional 10% as the handling fee and the delivery charges back to our warehouse must be borne by the customer.
